Whether you prefer water sports or land-based activities, you will find plenty to do in and around RBE. There are miles of beaches where you can walk, swim, sunbathe, windsurf, snorkel, fish, or simply enjoy the peace and quiet.

The Istana Club House

The Istana Clubhouse is the epicenter of all resident activities. The clubhouse is currently under construction and will include a pool and rancho (outside cooking area). Several suites in the clubhouse will be available for rent as soon as construction is complete.

When you purchase an estate lot or villa lot, you become a member of the Istana Club, for which there are monthly dues assessed. This fee covers the costs of operating the clubhouse, providing security, maintaining the common areas including beaches, stables, trails, boat launch and pier, and repairing roads. Members of the Istana Club are entitled to use most Istana facilities without additional charges, however, horseback riding, stabling and feeding of horses, dry dock boat storage, rental of motorized vehicles, room rentals, beverages, and other activities or consumption incur additional charges which are the responsibility of the property owners.

The Istana Club members participate in establishing rules governing some aspects of the Club's function, and elect an Architectural Review Committee which reviews and approves building plans for homes to be constructed within Rincon Beach Estates. Istana Properties Corporation maintains ownership of all Istana Club facilities and reserves the authority to establish and modify all fees associated with Rincon Beach Estates and future developments undertaken by Istana Properties Corporation.

Istana Properties Corporation will adopt and enforce rules that safeguard all property owners throughout RBE and will incorporate feedback from each member of the community. This process is designed to ensure the protection of property values and the preservation, conservation, and utilization of the environment so that it may be maintained for the benefit of present and future generations.

The Equestrian Center

The Equestrian Center has 15 horse stalls, tack rooms, an equipment storage facility, two casitas, employee living quarters, and a guest house. The guest house is located on a hill overlooking the Equestrian Center and has two suites - a two bedroom suite and a three bedroom suite - available for rent to Istana club members and their guests.

Boat Facilities

Property owners have access to our concrete pier and boat launch facility for activities such as boating, diving, and deep sea fishing. RBE is near the center of the Golfo de Chiriquí, which extends from Punta Burica at the western edge of Panama toward the Azuero Peninsula to the east, a world renowned region for scuba diving and deep sea fishing. Golfo de Chiriquí encompasses Coiba Island (known for the best sport fishing in the Pacific) and Parque Nacional Marino Golfo de Chiriquí, a 14,740-hectare marine park that encompasses two dozen islands and their surrounding waters.

Facilities will include a port store for many of your boating needs, secured covered dry storage, and secured fenced dry storage. Various guide services will also be available and will include: fishing in the various estuaries or around the nearby islands, kayaking in the beautiful estuaries or the exhilarating ocean surf, snorkeling and swimming in the pristine waters along small idyllic islands, sight seeing, shelling, beachcombing and picnicking along some of the most lovely uninhabited beaches where you can observe many varieties of indigenous wildlife.
